Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney women's swimming & diving team got its 2010-11 season started Friday night (Oct. 8th) in Omaha with a dual against the UNO Mavericks.

Junior
Heather Glodt (Pierre, S.D.) had the Aqualopers fastest time in the 100 fly (1:08.33), 100 breaststroke (1:16.32), 100 free (58.81) and 400 individual medley (5:26.45). She also swam the first leg for the 800 free relay team that came in with a time of 9:26.31.
Also of note, freshman
Cassie Bonds (Wichita, Kan.) led the team in the 50 free (27.14) and freshman
Jenny Wood (Cheyenne, Wyo.) had the top effort in the 100 backstroke (1:11.88).
Finally, junior
Kim Ellicott was the only diver to compete in the dual, scoring 149.75 points at one meter and 126.65 at three meters.
