Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney women's swimming & diving team is sitting in 7th place with 73 points after the first day of the 2010 RMAC Championships.
The three-day event is being hosted by Colorado School of Mines a the George Myers Pool in Arvada, Colo.
On Thursday, UNK scored 56 of its points in two relay events. The Aqualopers came in 7th in the 200 free relay in a time of 1:51.68 with the 400 free relay team finishing 8th (4:36.17).
In diving, Kansas sophomore
Jourdan McKevery scored 325.35 points on the 1 meter board to come in 7th out of 12 divers. McCook grad
Kim Ellicott (116.75) also scored five team points.
