Box Score Kearney, Neb. – The top-ranked Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team hit .320 and trailed just once in a sweep of Lindenwood (-10, -7, -19) Saturday afternoon at the Health & Sports Center.
The Lopers (19-2, 6-1) stop a two-match losing streak while the Lions, a fellow MIAA newcomer from St. Charles, Mo., drop to 13-9 (3-5).
Lindenwood swept a red hot Fort Hays State squad Friday night while UNK fell to Truman State in four sets. The Lopers made sure there wouldn't be another Lions upset as they scored the first eight points of the match.
UNK eventually led the first set 20-7 and erased a 1-0 deficit in the second set with a 10-2 spurt. Over the first two sets, Lindenwood had nine kills and 14 attack errors.
Kearney was also strong early in the third set, jumping out to leads of 6-1 and 16-9 before the Lions finally got on a little bit of a run. For the match, UNK had 41 kills and just 10 errors while the Lions hit negative .030 and registered only 18 kills.
Six different players were between four and nine kills for the Lopers with junior middle

Ariel Krolikowski (Grand Island) sharing the team lead with nine a piece.
Krolikowski also dug up 11 balls with sophomore libero
Liz McGowan (GI Central Catholic) at a match-high 13.

MJ Massanet (Manhattan, Kans.) had six kills, 10 digs and hit .455 with senior setter
Jenna Rouzee (GI Northwest) handing out 31 assists and having five digs and five kills.
UNK is at Missouri Western State Tuesday night.
