Box Score Kearney, Neb. - The South Dakota Mines men's basketball team had four players reach double figures, and finished on a 29-14 run, to slip past Nebraska-Kearney, 79-71, Sunday afternoon in Rapid City.

This was the regular season opener for both teams. Play by play isn't available for the game.

The Hardrockers got 50 points from its bench as senior guard AJ Trennepohl tallied a team-high 18, sophomore guard Calvin Thomas went for 14 and redshirt freshman guard Phillip Schanilec made all five shots he took to score 10.
