Follow Men's Basketball at RMAC Shootout

Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney men's basketball team looks to upset 2nd-ranked Colorado School of Mines Friday afternoon in an RMAC Tournament semifinal game.

Tip-time is 2:00 p.m. Central; note this is the first of four games on Friday.  The RMAC Shootout event web page can be found HERE

For fans not going to Pueblo, Colo., they can watch the contest via America One. Cost is $ 9.00 per game with season passes not valid due to this being the post season. Click HERE for the link.

UNK (16-11) is 24-13 all-time in the tournament, including a 7-7 mark in semifinal games. The Lopers last trip to the RMAC tourney finals came in 2006 when they beat Metro State, 71-68. They also were RMAC tourney champs in 1998.

The top-seeded Orediggers (25-2) are looking for its first-ever RMAC tourney title and sport an all-time mark of 6-10 in this event. Last year, Mines ended the Lopers season, 82-66, in a first round game.

The other side of the men's bracket features seventh-seed Colorado Mesa (15-12) and sixth-seed Fort Lewis (16-11). Those schools will meet Friday at 6:30 p.m. Central.
