Kearney, Neb. - The baseball and softball series between Nebraska-Kearney and Colorado Christian scheduled for this weekend have both been pushed back a day.

In softball, the Lopers (3-3) will now host the first-year Cougars (7-10) Sunday and Monday in double headers. Each day first pitch will be at 12:00 p.m.; the series was originally set for Saturday and Sunday at Dryden Park.

The UNK baseball team (1-6) will play at CCU (1-7) this weekend with double headers starting at 1:00 p.m. Central on Saturday and Sunday in Lakewood. If the weather in metro Denver is poor, the teams will play at Runyon Field in Pueblo.

This series was originally set for Friday and Saturday.

Of note, the Loper baseball team stays on the road next Wednesday with a game at Nebraska.
