Blake, a former UNK baseball player and now assistant coach, will be traveling to Sabana Grande in the Dominican Republic to serve a medical mission. There he will help with basic dental and medical needs as well as educate the citizens on general health care. Although Blake has volunteered to take part in the trip, he must pay for travel and basic accommodations. The UNK baseball team has come together to help Blake cover his travel costs for his efforts in the Dominican Republic.
"It is an invaluable experience that will broaden anyone's perspective and make you reevaluate your priorities. It gives great meaning to the countless hours of studying," said Cover.
Loper Baseball is proud of the strong young men who are a part of their program. They thank you for your support and hope to see you at the game in blue!
