Kearney, Neb. – Nebraska-Kearney head women's basketball coach Kevin Chaney will be inducted into the Solano (Calif.) Community College Athletic Hall of Fame later this fall.
 
The 2012 induction class was recently notified of their selection with the Hall of Fame ceremony set for October 1^st in Fairfield, Calif.
 
Chaney began his coaching career at Solano and was the Falcons the top assistant from 1994-2003. In his tenure there, he helped guide Solano to five conference championships, one California State Elite Eight appearance and a Final Four trip. 

Chaney also was the first assistant coach voted to the Board of Directors for the California Community College Women's Basketball Association.

Among the other selections is one of Chaney's former players, La Star Brown.
