Kearney, Neb. - After logging around 4,330 miles over the last month, the Nebraska-Kearney women's basketball team finally returns home this Saturday when MIAA foe Lincoln comes to town.

Things don't get any easier in 2014 as five of UNK's first six games in January will be played away from the Health & Sports Center.

Lincoln (3-6, 0-2)Â fell to Northeastern State, 66-53, and Central Oklahoma, 72-55, to start MIAA play. That drops them to 0-6 vs. Division II schools this year.

Williams (St. Louis, Mo.) paced the UNK offense last week in Missouri. She talleid a season-best 22 at Missouri Southern and then had 16 Saturday at Southwest Baptist. Through eight games, she is averaging 11.4 points a night, second best on the team.
UNK has only one game next week as well as the Lindenwood Lions come to the Health & Sports Center on Friday night. Last year, the Lopers tamed the Lions, 89-74, in the regular season finale.
