Amarah Williams had a double double and Nebraska-Kearney held Lincoln to 25% shooting in a 71-50 win Saturday evening at the Health & Sports Center.

UNK (4-5, 1-2) stops a four-game losing streak with the Blue Tigers (3-7, 0-3) now 0-7 vs. Division II competition this year.

Leading from start to finish, the Lopers got out to early leads of 8-1, 25-6 and 27-12 and were never seriously threatened.

Lincoln was just 13 of 52 from the floor (4 of 18 threes) and, while they went to the line 32 times, sunk only 20 of the free shots. The Blue Tigers also committed 26 turnovers and were out rebounded 52-32.

Williams (St. Louis, Mo.) had nine rebounds, eight points and five blocks in 17 first half minutes. She finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds and six swats, making this her first double double as a Loper.

Nine other Lopers scored, eight tallying at least four. That big group included senior guard
Sarah Hix (Broomfield, Colo.) and sophomore guard Sydney Seberger (Lexington) who each had 12 as they combined to go 10 of 21 from the floor.

Laramey Lewis each grabbed eight rebounds with Lewis also having six assists and three steals.
