Behind two homers from senior right fielder
Brian Wuest and three scoreless innings from junior righty

Due to weather, the games were played at Washburn University and moved up a day.

Senior catcher
Chandler Klute (3 for 4) led off the Loper eighth with a double to left, driving Bearcat starter Austin Warren (7.0 IP, five K's & three runs) from the game.
After a walk and a wild pitch moved Klute and pinch runner
Zane Mapes (Lincoln SW) into scoring position, true freshman right fielder
Anthony Pacheco (Kearney) hit a two-run single to right to tie the game at four.
In the tenth, sophomore SS
Dillon Schroeder (Kearney) hit a one-out double to left center. A ground out and walk preceded Jameson (Lovell, Wyo.), who smacked the game winner to left, his third hit in five at-bats.
Junior righty

A 2012 All-American, Wuest (2 for 4) helped UNK get out to a 8-1 lead in game one as he hit a three-run dinger in the first and then belted a two-run shot in the fourth.
Also at the plate, sophomore third baseman
Danny Droll (Penrose, Colo.) had three hits, including a key two-run double in the seventh, and lead off hitter
Max Ayoub (Grand Island) went 1 for 1 but drew a walk and was plunked three times.

Senior Adams Peters (Lincoln) picked up the win, giving up a run in four full.
