Kearney, Neb. - Due to expected poor weather, the Nebraska-Kearney/Fort Hays State softball double header scheduled for this Saturday, February 9th, in Kansas has been moved up a day.

UNK returns five starters, four being juniors, off last year's 26-24 team. Lincoln sophomore SS Mallory Noakes is the top returning hitter (.353, two HR's, 25 RBI's) with Papillion senior Becky Dunn having won 17 games the past three springs.

Kearney stays on the road next week with a trip to U. of Arkansas at Monticello Tournament. UNK will play eight games over four days, including a February 17th tilt vs. Hays.
