Box Score 2 Kearney, Neb. - Junior Amanda McClelland threw 11 strong innings to power 16th-ranked Central Oklahoma to a sweep of Nebraska-Kearney, 5-2 & 6-4, Friday afternoon in Hays, Kans.
With the neutral site wins, the Bronchos improve to 20-5 (5-1) while the Lopers fall to 6-16 (1-5).
In the night cap, McClelland (6-1) allowed two earned over four full with junior Kaylnn Schrock earning the save by tossing three scoreless innings. At the plate, the Broncohs took advantage of three Loper errors to score five unearned runs.
UCO scored two in the first, one in the third and three in the fourth. Junior first baseman Hayley Hudson went 2 for 4 with two RBI's while freshman Toric Collet and sophomore Kaylea Brunson were a combined 4 for 7 from the last two spots in the lineup.
With UCO leaving 11 on base, UNK managed to lead 4-3 after two innings. However, the Lopers were blanked over the last five innings.

Kenzie Helmink (Fairbury) 2 for 3 from the ninth spot.
McClelland threw a complete game four-hitter in game one, allowing one earned on four hits and four walks. Fanning six, she shut out UNK in three of the last four innings.
Offensively, UCO scored two in the second and two more in the fifth to earn the win. Senior DP Kacie Edwards went 3 for 4 with Hudson going 2 for 4 with two RBI's from the fifth spot in the line up.
