Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney softball team heads to Joplin, Mo., this weekend for the Missouri Southern State Border Battle.

UNK is slated to play Central Missouri (noon) and Missouri Western State (4:00 p.m.) on Saturday and Upper Iowa (10:00 a.m.) and the host MSSU Lions (noon) on Sunday. The games vs. the three MIAA foes are all non-conference.

Next week, UNK plays double headers at Washburn (Friday) and Emporia State (Saturday).
