Kearney, Neb. – Due to Winter Storm Yogi, the Nebraska-Kearney/NW Missouri State baseball double header scheduled for Wednesday, April 17th, has been moved up one day.
 
The Lopers (19-18, 16-15) and Bearcats (14-25, 11-22) will now play a two games starting at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16th. Earlier this year in Maryville, the Lopers took two games from Northwest, 10-6 and 5-4 (10 innings).
 
In the current MIAA standings, UNK (.516 win pct.) is in eighth place, just ahead of Fort Hays State (.515). Weather permitting, Hays battles MIAA leader Missouri Western State at home Wednesday afternoon.

The top eight teams make the MIAA's with the first four seeds hosting a three-game series May 2-5. The four series winners then advance to Kansas City May 9-11
