Box Score Kearney, Neb. – The Lincoln Blue Tigers tied its season high of 90 points to beat Nebraska Kearney, 90-68, Saturday afternoon in Jefferson City, Mo.
This was UNK's (5-6, 1-3) first trip to Lincoln (6-4, 1-3).
The Lopers beat the Blue Tigers in each of the past two seasons but LU turned the tables today, leading for the last 37 minutes. Getting 28 points off its bench, Lincoln shot 49% from the field and had four score in double figures.
UNK got another double double from senior post
Amarah Williams (25 points & 11 rebounds) but shot 37% from the field and committed 19 turnovers. Lincoln also won the rebounding margin, 44-40. They came in with a minus rebounding margin on the season.
Lincoln 5-8 junior guard Lizzie Nessling had her first career double double (16 points & 11 rebounds) with fellow starters Hunter Yoakum (19) and Kate Frazier (18) combining to score 37. The pair also provided nine rebounds, seven steals and went 13 of 19 from the field.
Off the bench, 5-8 junior guard Dorian Briggs (16 points, four steals & three assists) provided the biggest spark.
Williams (St. Louis, Mo.) went 11 of 17 from the floor and 3 of 4 at the line to reach her game-high point total. She grabbed six offensive caroms and had three blocks on the defensive end.

Laramey Lewis (Trenton) getting close to a double double, finishing with 12 points, eight boards and five assists.
UNK is off until New Year's Eve when they host Oklahoma Panhandle State at 5:30 p.m.
