The game was part of the Kelly Laas Memorial Invite. UNK (2-8) went 1-3 on the weekend and now has dropped three games this year by a single run.

The Lopers held leads of 2-0, 3-2, 4-3 and 5-3 but St. Cloud (2-1) never went away. Finishing with 11 hits, they scored two in the sixth on the strength of three singles, a walk, Loper error.

Mallory Noakes (2 for 4) hit a one out single and advanced to second due to an error. Â
Two of the next three batters walked but junior Kelly Franks got out of the bases loaded jam thanks to a fielder's choice.

In the bottom of the inning, junior Amber Holmgren (2 for 4) hit a leadoff single with pincher runner Brooke Klontz moving to second via ground out. That brought up Coletto (2 for 3), who promptly ended things from the eighth spot in the lineup. Â
