Box Score 2 Kearney, Neb. – The Central Missouri Jennies had 26 hits and got complete games from Jakki Prater and Katie Schockley to sweep double header from Nebraska-Kearney, 8-2 and 5-0, Monday afternoon at Dryden Park.
The Jennies improve to 7-7 (2-2) while the Lopers slip to 3-11 (1-3).
In game one, UCM scored four in the first and two in the second to never look back. A 17-hit attack featured three doubles, two homers and a triple.
Four different Jennies had three hits with first baseman Lauren Mabe going 2 for 4 with three RBI's. On the mound, Shockley tossed a six-hit complete game. Fanning three and walking three, she blanked UNK over the first four innings.
The Lopers were led by sophomore third baseman Sam Liebmann (2 for 4, two RBI's) and freshman left fielder
Taylre Keenan (2 for 4).
UCM again came out strong, scoring runs in each of the first four innings to grab a 5-0 lead in the nightcap. Left fielder Alex Groeger (2 for 4, three RBI's) did the most damage at the plate.

Taryn Trosper (7.0 IP, three earned and seven K's) threw well in defeat, shutting out the Jennies over the last three innings. Finally, Keenan (Ralston) went 2 for 3 from the lead off spot.
UNK's non-conference double header scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed and will now be playing at a date to be announced in April.
Emporia State (Saturday) and Washburn (Sunday) visit this weekend.
