Kearney, Neb. - Due to expected poor weather, the Nebraska-Kearney/Northeastern State baseball teams are changing the format for this weekend's series in Tahlequah, Okla.
The two teams will now play a double header Friday, April 4th, starting at 1:00 p.m. After the completion of those games, officials will determine the format for the rest of the weekend with the hope of playing single games Saturday (2:00 p.m.) and Sunday (noon). Weather may force another double dip Saturday.
UNK (19-12, 13-11) is currently tied with Emporia State and Washburn for fifth place in the MIAA with the RiverHawks (14-18, 10-14) in an 11th place tie with Pitt State.
Live stats will be available all weekend.
