Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team hosts rival Fort Hays State on Tuesday September 16th at the Health and Sports Center.
UNK is partnering with the United Way in an effort to establish a student-run chapter on campus. First serve is at 7:00 p.m. and Loper fans are encouraged to wear white to support this effort.
The 6th-ranked Lopers are currently undefeated with a record of (4-0, 0-0) after cruising through their Fall Classic tournament last weekend. The Lopers' make a trip to Colorado this weekend for a tournament at CSU-Pueblo before returning home to take on the Tigers on Tuesday evening in their first MIAA contest of the season.
The United Way Kearney Area started as the Kearney United Fund in 1964, helping to fund five partner agencies. Presently, the United Way Kearney Area funds 20 partner agencies in Kearney, Phelps, Franklin, Harlan, Custer and Buffalo counties; anyone looking to volunteer is encouraged to visit: uwka.org.
