Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney women's swimming and diving team won every event to easily get past the College of St. Mary,
152-38, Saturday afternoon in Cushing Pool.
The double winners were Wyoming freshman
Brianda Johnson in the 500 (5:54.58) and 1,000 (12:02.84) freestyles, Omaha senior
Brianna Monter in the 200 individual medley (2:28.41) and 200 breaststroke (2:45.75) and Tekamah senior
Skylar Tatreau in the 100 (56.91) and 200 (2:03.93) freestyles.
Next, Ralston senior Alex Prochaska swam the opening leg for the winning 400 relay team (4:02.26) and also was first in the 50 free (26:00). The other individual winner was Colorado junior
Mackenzie Eubank in the 200 backstroke (2:24.51).
Finally, California newcomer Nicki De Vries was the lone diver in the dual, scoring 157.05 points on the one meter board and 240.72 at three meters.
UNK heads to Sioux City, Ia., in two weeks for a dual with the Morningside Mustangs.
