Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney women's swimming & diving team is picked eighth in the 2015-16 RMAC preseason coaches poll.
The poll, voted upon by the league's head coaches, was released on October 6th.
Defending RMAC (Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) champion California Baptist is picked first (46; four first place votes) with Lindenwood (44; three first place) a close second. Colorado Mesa (37) and Colorado School of Mines (30) also received more than 30 points.
UNK begin its season on Sunday, October 11th, with a Team Pentathlon in Cushing Pool. The event starts at 7:00 p.m. and is open to the public. The Aqualopers first regular season commpetition will also be at home, coming on Halloween vs. the College of St. Mary (1:00 p.m.).
