Imani Kyser combined for 32 second half points as Nebraska-Kearney pulled away from Chadron State, 66-59, Saturday night in Chadron.
The Lopers (3-2) have won three straight while the Eagles (0-2) remain winless.
Down 27-26 at the break, the Lopers took advantage of 27 Eagle turnovers to grab the lead early in third quarter and then hung on for the win.

Laramey Becker capped a 22 point third quarter and gave UNK a five-point cushion, 48-43. Kearney never trailed in the fourth, making it 60-54 after a steal by Dannebrog sophomore guard
Courtney Aitken led to a Hogberg (Chandler, Ariz.) layup.
Chadron got within four soon after but Kyser (Madison, Ala.) responded with her seventh and final bucket. UNK went 4 of 7 at line over the final 56 seconds to secure its second road win in three days.
Hogberg tied her career-high of 21 points by scoring 18 in the second half. She was 5 of 10 from the floor (2 of 4 threes) and 6 of 9 at the line while also having five assists and three steals.
Kyser had 14 of her 16 points over the final two quarters. Making 7 of 8 shots, she was one of three Lopers to grab six rebounds. UNK was out rebounded by a 48-38 margin.
Becker (12) was the only other Loper in double figures. Playing 34 minutes, she had four of UNK's 15 steals, two assists and two offensive boards.
It wasn't a great night shooting for anyone as UNK was 14 of 25 (56%) at the line and 24 of 68 (35%) from the field. Chadron had similar numbers; 50% (11 of 22) at the line and 39% (23 of 59) from the floor.
Kiwi sophomore post Maka Daysh led the Eagles by having 21 points, eight rebounds, two blocks and a steal in just 24 minutes.
