Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska Kearney men's basketball team will host Southwest Baptist Monday night at 7:00 p.m. in an MIAA Tournament first round game.
The Lopers (17-9) were one of five teams to tie for third place in the league standings with a 12-7 record. Based on tiebreakers, UNK received the sixth seed. The top four seeds received a first round bye.
Back on December 6th in the Health & Sports Center, UNK posted an 80-62 win over the Bearcats (11-17, 6-13). That was the only meeting between the two this season.
UNK students, with ID, get in for free with general admission tickets $ 12.00 (adults) and $ 7.00 (seniors/youths). A few courtside seats remain for a cost of $ 15.00 each.
The Kearney-SBU winner advances to Kansas City to take on Missouri Southern State (18-10, 12-7) Thursday night at approximately 8:15 p.m. Click
