Please join the Nebraska-Kearney baseball program as they celebrate Easter on Saturday, April 4th at 2:30 p.m. with the Memorial Field Easter egg hunt.
"Easter is one of my favorite holidays as it signifies the beginning of spring and warmer weather ahead. So please come join us for some Easter egg fun," said UNK Head Coach,
Damon Day.
The Hunt will be held at Memorial Field at approximately 2:30 p.m., or immediately following the conclusion of the game between UNK and Emporia State. The hunt will be separated into specific age groups of 4 & under, 5-8 and 9-12. UNK baseball players will be present to help kids hunt for eggs.
The Lopers currently sit in second place in the MIAA standings with a record of 21-10 (15-5).The E-State Hornets come to town with a 19-7 (12-7) mark and have traditionally been of the MIAA's top programs.
First pitch for Thursday's game is set for 3:00 p.m. with Friday's double header starting at 1:00 p.m. and Saturday's series finale set for a noon start.
