Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney baseball team is ranked sixth in the latest NCBWA (National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association) regional rankings.
These rankings are not the NCAA Regional Rankings that determine the makeup of the 48-national tournament field. Those will be released later this month.
The Central Region is made up of schools from the MIAA, NSIC (Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) and GAC (Great American Conference).
UNK has three regular season weekends left; at Missouri Western State (April 10-12), home vs. Lindenwood (April 17-19) and at Washburn (April 24-26). The Lopers also host Wayne State in a single nine-inning game on April 15th.
