Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney Aqualopers returned to the pool for the first time in a month and lost at Division I Nebraska-Omaha,
134-64, Saturday afternoon in Omaha.
The dual featured mainly sprint events with senior Briana Monter (Omaha North H.S.) winning the 50 breaststroke in 34.58.
UNK also picked up 11 teams points by winning the 200 free relay in 1:55.97. The foursome included Wyoming freshman
Brittany Pooler and Burke graduate Kyle Kenedy. Finally, Kansas senior
Zhu Zhu Lundin Daniels was second in the 50 free (26.09) and third in the 100 free (58.93) with Kenedy runner up in the 50 backstroke (31.23).
UNK heads to Iowa next weekend for the two-day Grinnell College Invite.
