Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney women's swimming & diving team kicked off a home weekend by taking on Division I Northern Colorado and RMAC rival Colorado State-Pueblo Friday night at Cushing Pool.

178-62, and Aqualopers,
175-61, with CSUP getting past UNK,
138-92.Kearney (3-4) had three season best swims as Tekamah senior
Skylar Tatreau turned in a 2:01.36 in the 200 free, good for a third place finish. Next, Omaha senior
Brianna Monter was fourth in the 200 breaststroke (2:41.68).
In the 200 butterfly, Omaha junior
Melanie Pennington swam a 2:41.60, nearly four seconds lower than her previous top time this winter.
Also, Kansas senior
Zhu Zhu Lundin Daniels was runner up in the 50 free (26.28) with Tatreau third in the 100 free (56.25). Finally, junior Nicki De Vries was third on both the 1 meter (176.85) and 3 meter (194.15) boards.
These three teams will come back to Cushing at 11:00 a.m. for another round of duals.
