Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney softball team heads to Bentonville, Ark., this weekend for the annual 8-State Classic.

The tournament is hosted by Arkansas-Monticello at Bentonville High School's Tiger Athletic Complex and Memorial Park. There is an event webpage with the complete schedule and field assignments.

UNK (3-2) is slated to face four teams from Missouri, including 7th-ranked and unbeaten Missouri-St. Louis, over the first two days. On Sunday, the Lopers are scheduled to face NSIC-member Minnesota-Duluth and Illinois-Springfield but snow will likely cancel those games.

The Lopers busy February continues next week when the head indoors to the annual Kelly Laas NSIC-MIAA Crossover Invite in St. Cloud, Minn.
