Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney Athletic Department will hold a Military Appreciation Night this Thursday, February 18th, when the Loper basketball team hosts Lincoln University.

The games against the Blue Tigers are set to begin at 5:30 p.m. (women) and 7:30 p.m. (men).

Military personnel, active and retired, can redeem the above voucher for two free G.A. tickets, as well as receive $ 2.00 off any additional tickets. Just bring the voucher and military ID to receive the tickets.

The UNK women (12-12, 8-10) are currently in a three-way tie for eighth place in the MIAA standings. At the end of the regular season, teams five through eight host an MIAA Tournament first round game on Monday, February 29th.

On the men's side, the Lopers are 15-9 (11-7) and tied with Lindenwood for second place. The top four teams receive a first round bye in the MIAA tourney and automatically advance to Kansas City the weekend of March 4-6th.
