Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney softball team will host its first-ever "Bark in the Park" event at Dryden Park this weekend (April 8-9)
 
The cost of attendance to the games are free for both Loper fans and four-legged friends alike. Enjoy being outdoors, bring your favorite pooch, and support the Lopers softball team during their upcoming home games!
 
  ** Friday, April 8th at 3/5:00 p.m. vs. Washburn University

  ** Saturday, April 9 at 12/2:00 p.m, vs. Emporia State University
 
The Kearney Area Animal Shelter will be showcasing some of their adoptable pets during and between contests. Free blue and gold bandanas and dog treats will be given out to fans while supplies last.
 
To ensure everyone has a fun an safe experience at the ball park, all dogs should be up to date on all vaccination, are in good health, leash trained, and is friendly towards humans a and other dogs.
