Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney/Central Oklahoma baseball series scheduled for this weekend at Memorial Field has been moved up a day due to impending bad weather.

The Lopers (19-26, 16-20) and Bronchos (26-20, 18-17) will now play games Thursday and Friday night at 6:00 p.m. The teams will then decide Friday night when to play the series finale on Saturday.

Currently, UNK is tied with Southwest Baptist for ninth place in the MIAA standings. UCO is eighth so a three-game sweep by the Lopers likely puts them into the eight-team MIAA Tournament next weekend in St. Charles, Mo.
