Box Score Kearney, Neb. - Grand Island freshman middle blocker Mackenize Puckett had 11 kills and hit .611 as third-ranked Nebraska-Kearney easily swept Emporia State (15, -12, -7) Saturday evening at the Health & Sports Center.
The Lopers (17-0, 3-0) push its home winning streak on Buckle Court to 25 consecutive matches, the third longest streak in school history.
Hitting a solid .366 and registering 7.5 team blocks, UNK trailed only three times all night. All three were early on in the first two sets as ESU (7-8, 0-3) ended the night with 25 kills and 20 errors.
Puckett reached her match-high kill total in just 18 swings. She didn't commit an attack error and also had one of UNK's three service aces.
