Box Score 2 Kearney, Neb. – The Northeastern State RiverHawks had 14 hits in game one and got a four-hit complete game shut out from sophomore Taryn Gray in the night cap to sweep a double header from Nebraska-Kearney, 15-7 (6 innings) and 9-0 (5 innings), Sunday afternoon at Dryden Park.
This MIAA double header was scheduled for Saturday but pushed back a full day due to weather. 
In game one, the teams combined for 27 hits with NSU scoring four runs in both the third and sixth innings. UNK scored two runs in each of the last three innings but also left the bases full in the second.
The 'Hawks (11-12, 3-3) five through nine hitters did the most damage, going 11 for 16 with nine RBI's and nine runs scored. That group included right fielder Ryan Martin (2 for 4, three runs & three RBI's), who was one of two 'Hawks to homer.
On the mound, senior Jennifer Wolf (2-4) allowed five earned on 10 hits and no walks over five full innings. She also fanned five and hit one Loper.
UNK (1-21, 0-2) saw four different player collect two hits, including Ralston junior left fielder 
Taylre Keenan (2 for 3, two RBI's) and California freshman second baseman 
Macey Nelson (2 for 4, one run & two RBI's).
NSU took advantage of two Loper errors to score eight unearned runs in the top of the first in game two. The 'Hawks finished with nine hits, led by shortstop Kelsey Harmon (2 for 4, one run & two RBI's) from the two-hole.
Gray (2-3) fanned three and walked one to earn the win. She allowed four hits and got out of a bases loaded jam in the fourth thanks to a pop up so short.
The Lopers were led by Utah junior 
Abbey Martin, who allowed one earned on a walk and five hits in 4.1 innings of relief work. 
UNK heads to Missouri Western State next weekend for six games in three days against NSIC (Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conf.) competition.
