Kearney, Neb. – Due to recent rain and field conditions, the weekend schedule for the Nebraska-Kearney softball team has changed.

UNK (6-30, 3-7) will now play Missouri Southern State (14-23, 2-6) on Friday and, hopefully, Pittsburg State (26-10, 5-3) on either Saturday or Sunday. On the original schedule, the Lopers were to meet the Gorillas first and then the Lions.

Due to conditions at Dryden Park, UNK and MSSU will play its double header at Smith Softball Complex (3900 Osborne Drive East) in Hastings. The games will be at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. and on Field #3.

The Lions are at Fort Hays State on Thursday afternoon; Pitt plays the Tigers on Friday. After Friday's games, a determination of when and where UNK and Pitt will play will be made.
