Sean Laughlin combined to throw a nine-hitter and junior
Dallas Schramm had three hits to help Nebraska-Kearney beat Fort Hays State, 9-2, Tuesday night in Kansas.
With the win, the Lopers (13-26, 6-20) take the season series from the Tigers (9-30, 2-23). The finale will come next Wednesday, April 26th, at Memorial Field.
Winning for the second time this year, Ertmer (Elizabeth, Ill.) struck out five and allowed one earned run over five innings. Laughlin (Overland Park, Kan.) worked the final four innings and picked up the save thanks to two K's and no walks.
Offensively, the Lopers racked up 15 hits and scored in five innings. A four-run third featured a three-run bomb to left by Schramm (Millard North), his team-leading ninth of the year. He finished 3 for 5 and scored two runs.

Ty Roseberry (Kearney H.S.) went 3 for 5 with two RBI's and junior right fielder
Josh Estrada (Houston) went 2 for 5 and belted his fourth homer. Finally, freshman shortstop
Calvin Rudolph (Millard South) was 3 for 4 with two RBI's.
