Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney men's basketball team takes a two-game win streak on the road this weekend when it travels to Missouri to face the Lindenwood Lions and Lincoln Blue Tigers.

These are the only games with LWU (13-6, 5-5) and LU (9-10, 3-7) this season. Check the Loper schedule page for tip times and media links.

UNK (8-10, 4-5) currently is tied with Southwest Baptist for ninth place in the standings. The 29158Lopers have six of its final 10 games at home where it is 6-1. In contrast, UNK is 1-9 on the road with the majority of those games coming down to the wire.

Since winning at Colorado-Colorado Springs back in November, the Lopers have lost eight on the road by an average score of 83-75. Showing how many close games it has had to date, UNK's scoring margin is 78.5-78.4. That is the tightest in the MIAA.

Allowing an league low six made threes per game, the Lopers also continue to rank among the league leaders in free throws made (19.1) and attempted (25.1) a night. On average, a UNK game averages 48 free throw attempts per game with the high coming at Southwest Baptist (83).

Individually, senior Trey Lansman (Harlan, Ia.) is among the Division II leaders in scoring (22.4), rebounding (10.1), minutes (36.8) and double doubles (10). He recently went over the 1,800-point mark and will soon pass Loper legends Connor Beranek and Tom Kropp on the all-time scoring list. Finally, the preseason All-American is on pace to reach the lofty 2,000-point mark sometime in mid-February.

UNK hosts Washburn (Thursday) and Emporia State (Saturday) next weekend.
