Kearney, Neb. – Senior
Dallas Schramm has been chosen a 2018 preseason All-American by the
NCBWA (National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association).
Schramm (Millard North) made the first-team as a designated hitter. In 2017, he started all 49 games; 31 at DH, 16 at catcher and two at first base. The only other MIAA players to make the first, second or third team lists were Southwest Baptist catcher Hunter

Hisky (first-team), Central Missouri outfielder Justin Graff-Rowe (third-team) and Lindenwood outfielder Wes Degener (third-team).
A 2017 first-team ABCA (American Baseball Coaches Association) All-American, Schramm batted .356 last spring with 20 doubles, 13 home runs and 53 RBI's. He begins his final year with a .306 career average, 39 doubles, 26 homers and 115 RBI's. The two-time All-MIAA pick has collected 134 hits; only 11 Lopers have reached the 200-mark.
Schramm and UNK head to Denver this weekend to face the Metro State Roadrunners. Weather permitting, single nine-inning games will be played each day (Fri.-Sun.) beginning at 1 p.m. Central. Check the
Loper schedule page for live stat and live video links.
