Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney softball team has moved up both home doubleheaders this week due to expected inclement weather.
 
The Lopers will now battle Washburn (27-8, 11-1) and Emporia State (14-24, 5-8) on Wednesday and Thursday, April 4-5,  at Patriot Park. UNK will face the first-place Ichabods on Wednesday at 1 p.m. and then the Hornets on Thursday beginning at noon.
 
Kearney (12-21, 8-8) has played just two games in town all season. After Thursday, the team's last home date comes on Sunday, April 22, against Fort Hays State. Those games will be at Dryden Park.
