Kearney, Neb. - The baseball series between Nebraska-Kearney and Emporia State this weekend in Kansas has been pushed back a full day due to expected inclement weather in the area 

The two teams will now try and play games Saturday-Monday, April 7-9. Start time each day is set for 1 p.m. If the weather is poor on Saturday, a double header will be held either Sunday or Monday. 

Including a few games this week, UNK (17-14, 10-7) currently is in fifth place in the MIAA standings with the Hornets (18-13, 9-9) seventh. The Lopers return to Memorial Field next Wednesday, April 11, to face Fort Hays State at 3 p.m.
