Kearney, Neb. – The now top-ranked Nebraska-Kearney wrestling team will face the 18th-ranked Indianapolis Greyhounds Friday morning in the first round of the 2019 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Multi Divisional National Duals in Louisville, Ky. 

This annual double elimination dual tournament brings together 84 of the top wrestling teams from NCAA Divisions II and III, the NAIA, and the junior college ranks. This year's tourney is set for January 4-5 (Friday and Saturday) at the Kentucky Expo Center/Freedom Hall. Trackwrestling is providing live results and live video (for a price) all weekend. 

St. Cloud State is the top seed and riding a 35-match dual winning streak. The Huskies have won this event each of the past two years and four times overall. 

UNK (0-3) will face UIndy at 8 a.m. Central on Friday. Win or lose the Lopers wrestle again at noon Central against either No. 4 Pittsburgh-Johnstown or No. 14 Fort Hays State.

The UIndy Greyhounds feature Kyle Barkovich (9th/149 lbs.), Brody Connor (8th/184 lbs.) and Dylan Faullkenberg (2nd/285 lbs.). The only other meeting between the two came at the 2011 Central Missouri Dual Jamboree where UNK posted a 28-9 victory.

Last year at the National Duals, UNK beat Pittsburgh-Johnstown and McKendree (IL) before falling to St. Cloud the semifinals. The Lopers bounced back to beat Gannon (PA) to come in third place.
