Kearney, Neb. – The schedule for the Nebraska-Kearney women's tennis team has changed this weekend due to inclement weather in the area.
 
The Lopers (7-5), ranked seventh in the Central Region, will now have three indoor duals. All three were originally scheduled to be played outside.
 
First, UNK will host Oklahoma Baptist (2-4) on Thursday, March 7, at the Grand Island Tennis Center. That dual will begin at 9 a.m. Next, the Lopers start MIAA play with a neutral site dual in Kansas City against the Emporia State Hornets (2-1) on Saturday, March 9. That'll begin at 3 p.m. at the Northland Racquet Club.
 
Finally, Kearney will battle the Washburn Ichabods (6-1) on Sunday, March 10, at the Topeka Country Club, a facility with both indoor and outdoor courts. First serve is set for 9 a.m.
 
UNK remains on the road next week when it heads to Hilton Head, S.C., for an annual "Spring Break" trip. At this point, the Lopers will face Division I La Salle (Pa), Indiana of Pennsylvania and Illinois-Springfield.
