Kearney, Neb. – The annual Nebraska-Kearney Loper Invitational is being pushed back due to the impending cold and wet weather.

The meet, originally set for Friday and Saturday, April 12-13, at Kearney High School will now be held just on Sunday, April 14.

With the schedule change, the 10,000 meter run (men and women) will kick things off at noon. The next running event (men's and women's steeplechase) will go off at 1:30 p.m. Field events will also begin at 12 p.m. with the men's hammer and women's javelin. Finally, things should wrap up around 6:30 p.m.
