Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney football team will finish off its 2019 spring practice schedule with a "Blue" Vs. "Gold" scrimmage on Saturday, April 20.

The game will start at 1:30 p.m. and last four quarters; the clock will run continually at times after the first quarter. Next, spring award winners and the 2019 team captains will be revealed during a 10-minute halftime.  The event is free and open to the public and concessions will be available.

On Wednesday, April 17, current Lopers players will hold a draft to create the teams. Due to shortages at a couple of positions some players will play on both squads. The roster/team makeup is now available. 
 
UNK starts fall camp in August with the 2019 opener set for Thursday, September 5, at Missouri Southern State.
