Kansas City, Mo. - The MIAA announced its final report on subscriptions and viewership for The MIAA Network's 2018-19 season.

The MIAA Network features a hybrid model where men's and women's basketball, football, and volleyball are pay-for-view and all other sports are free-to-view. UNK chooses to stream home soccer and softball games as well as select wrestling duals. 

The Network saw subscriptions increase by 26 percent from the previous year. Last year, over 245 All-Access Passes were purchased. More than 865 Season Passes were bought for men's and women's basketball, football, and volleyball with Season Passes for football exceeding 540 subscriptions. Nearly 9,500 Day Passes were also purchased during the 2018-19 season. 

Viewership for the 2018-19 season increased by 31 percent from 2017-18 with 307,358 total plays on the MIAA Network. Total viewer hours for last season was 247,694 over 1,277 broadcasts. Of the 1,277 broadcasts produced by the Association's 14 members, 432 were regular-season free-to-view in the sports of baseball, men's and women's soccer, softball, and wrestling.

All subscription revenue received by the MIAA is distributed to the member school based on the subscriber's designation. 

The MIAA Network and its media partner, BlueFrame Technology, will enter the third year of their agreement this year. Subscriptions are available for the 2019-2020 season with a preseason special for All-Access passes.
