Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney wrestling program hosts the eighth annual Midwest Duals this Friday and Saturday at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds.

Twelve colleges (NCAA Division II, NAIA and junior college), 15 high schools and several youth programs from Nebraska and surrounding states will take part. Action begins at 9 a.m. on both days and runs until the early evening hours.

On Friday, NAIA, junior colleges and a UNK "reserve" team will compete along with smaller class high schools. On Saturday the action will include Division II schools, kids clubs and larger class high schools. 

Cost of admission per day is $10 (adults/seniors/military/faculty) and $5 (students). Those who have the UNK All-Sports pass or a Nebraska Coaches Association pass will also gain admittance; the passes must be shown to get in. All proceeds benefit Loper wrestling.

Gates open each day at around 8 a.m. (after skin checks and weigh-ins are completed). "Flo Arena" will provide live results and live video (for a price) all weekend.
