Kearney, Neb. – The Augustana Vikings won 11 events to swim past Nebraska-Kearney, 109-67, Saturday afternoon at Kearney High.

This was the Aqualopers final home meet of the 2019-20 season as well as its last regular season event. They head to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Championships in February to close things out.

Facing soon-to-be Division I Augie, UNK picked up big points on the one and three meter diving boards and placed second in the 200 free relay (1:45.57). That foursome included Lincoln senior Mikara Feit, Kansas sophomore Claire Nash, Norfolk freshman Audrey Stelling and Illinois freshman Olivia Forrest.

The lone senior on this year's team Feit also was third in the 1,000 free (12:12.24), fourth in the 100 backstroke (1:05.15) and swam the opening leg for the third place 200 medley relay team (1:57.78). Nash and Forrest were on that squad as well. Finally in the pool Forrest was fourth in the 200 individual medley thanks to a season-best 2:19.87. That places her on UNK's all-time top 10 list.

To start the day Hastings freshman Cheyanne Axtell tallied 314.10 points to win on the 1-meter board and then scored 160.00 to place first at 3-meters.
