Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney cross country team has played four women and three men on the 2021 U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic team.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.

It was a banner year for Loper cross country with the women winning its first-ever MIAA Championships and the men qualifying for the NCAA Champions for the first time in seven years. Both UNK squads were also nationally-ranked during the fall.
