Kearney, Neb. – The weekend schedule for the Nebraska-Kearney softball team has changed due to cold temperatures in Topeka, Kan.

UNK (3-7) is set to take part in the three-day Washburn Invitational presented by Hotel Topeka at Capital Center. The Lopers are playing games on days two and three of the tournament. 

The event has been moved back to a Saturday/Sunday/Monday format. The Lopers will face Missouri-St. Louis (1-5) and Mary, N.D. (0-7) on Sunday and Southwest Minnesota State (3-3) and Wayne State (2-5) on Monday. Sunday's Loper games are at Lake Shawnee West with Monday's games set for Lake Shawnee East.
