Kearney, Neb. – The schedule has changed for the Nebraska-Kearney softball team's second home weekend.
 
Due to field conditions, the Lopers will now face MIAA co-keader Missouri Southern and Pittsburg State on Saturday and Sunday at Patriot Park. The games were originally set for Friday and Saturday.
 
UNK (12-18, 3-3) will play the Lions (22-7, 7-1) on Saturday at 2 and 4 p.m. and then the Gorillas (21-9, 6-2) on Sunday at 1 and 3 p.m. On both days, the games will be played on a field to be determined.
 
The Blue & Gold, who've traveled around 5,100 miles to date, start a three-week road trip next Friday at Emporia State.
